ESTAROL
(Atorvastatin)

Estarol belongs to a group of medicines called statins. It is used to lower cholesterol if you’ve been diagnosed with high blood cholesterol and prevent heart disease, including heart attacks and strokes.
Estarol is also used to lower the amount of fatty substances such as low-density lipoprotein (LDL) cholesterol (‘bad cholesterol’) and triglycerides in the blood and to increase the amount of high-density lipoprotein (HDL) cholesterol (‘good cholesterol’) in the blood.

RIVAROXABAN
Rivaroxaban)

Rivaroxaban is used to prevent blood clots from forming due to a certain irregular heartbeat (atrial fibrillation) or after hip or knee replacement surgery. It is also used to prevent blood clots from forming in high-risk patients with limited mobility during their hospital stay and after discharge. In addition, rivaroxaban is used to treat blood clots (such as in deep vein thrombosis-DVT or pulmonary embolus-PE) and to prevent the blood clots from forming again. Rivaroxaban is a factor Xa inhibitor, an anticoagulant.

Relixib is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), or sometimes just ‘anti-inflammatories’. Relixib eases pain and swelling (inflammation) in conditions like osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis and ankylosing spondylitis, and it may also be used for short periods of time in gout.
Relixib works by blocking the effect of a natural chemical called cyclo-oxygenase-2 (COX-2) enzyme. This enzyme helps to make other chemicals, called prostaglandins, in the body. Some prostaglandins are produced at sites of injury or damage, and cause pain and inflammation. By blocking the effect of COX-2 enzymes, fewer prostaglandins are produced, which means pain and inflammation are eased.

5-ALPHA REDUCTASE INHIBITOR
Dutasteride is a synthetic 4-azasteroid compound that is a selective inhibitor of both the type 1 and type 2 isoforms of steroid 5 alpha-reductase used to treat benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) in men with an enlarged prostate. Dutasteride helps improve urinary flow and may also reduce the need for prostate surgery later. Dutasteride prevents the conversion of testosterone to dihydrotestosterone (DHT) in the body.
This medication belongs to a drug class known as 5-alpha reductase inhibitors. It blocks the body from making a form of testosterone called dihydrotestosterone (DHT) that’s responsible for prostate growth.
