Published review outlines the multi-target formulation and nano-delivery mechanism; a 500-patient randomized controlled trial is underway to evaluate clinical outcomes

A peer-reviewed paper published in the International Journal of Scientific Research (Vol. 15, Issue 7, July 2026; DOI: 10.36106/ijsr) outlines the scientific rationale behind Q-NiFlexTM, a multi-component nutraceutical for joint health, and its proprietary Phytosome Quantum Nano Sphere (PQNS) delivery technology.

The paper, authored by Dr. Pallavi Singh (BDS, MDS, Government Hospital, Indore, M.P.) and Dr. Raj Bhan Singh (MD Anesthesiology, Assistant Professor, ESIC Medical College & Hospital, Indore, M.P.), reviews how PQNS combines phytosome complexation with nano-sized vesicular delivery — an approach intended to improve the stability, gastrointestinal protection, and systemic bioavailability of phytoconstituents that are otherwise poorly absorbed, such as curcumin and other botanical extracts.

Q-NiFlexTM combines glucosamine sulphate, chondroitin sulphate, hyaluronic acid, Boswellia serrata, Curcuma longa, Cissus quadrangularis, and a range of complementary botanicals, amino acids, vitamins, and minerals in a once-daily tablet, formulated to address five functional domains relevant to osteoarthritis: structural cartilage support, inflammation modulation, oxidative stress reduction, connective tissue regeneration, and delivery optimization.

“Osteoarthritis is a multifactorial condition, and single-ingredient supplements have struggled to address that complexity,” the authors note in the paper. “Q-NiFlexTM was developed on a multi-target philosophy, and PQNS is the delivery system intended to make that formulation more bioavailable.”

Clinical study underway

The paper is explicit that mechanistic rationale is not the same as clinical proof. A prospective, randomized, placebo-controlled study is currently underway to evaluate the efficacy and safety of Q-NiFlexTM in approximately 500 osteoarthritis patients, with a 12-week treatment period and follow-up to 16 weeks. Primary endpoints include change in WOMAC score from baseline; secondary endpoints include VAS pain scores, physician global assessment, and safety labs.

“Independent, peer-reviewed clinical trial results will be essential to validate the proposed advantages of PQNS technology,” the authors write. No efficacy claims are made pending that trial’s results.

About the PQNS platform

PQNS is a phytosome- and nano-vesicular delivery platform developed by Integria Care, designed to improve the absorption and stability of poorly bioavailable actives.
