Oral bioavailability is estimated to be ≥90% and is independent of dose.
Pregabalin is eliminated primarily by renal excretion as unchanged drug. Dose adjustment is required in renal impairment and after haemodialysis.

If pregabalin has to be discontinued, withdrawal should be gradual over a minimum of one week, independent of the indication.
Dizziness and somnolence may occur. Refer to the approved prescribing information for contraindications, warnings, precautions, adverse reactions and interactions.

Dose adjustment in patients with impaired renal function must be individualised according to creatinine clearance.
