For adults and adolescents over 15 years: 1g of Metamizole administered IM or IV. The dose may be repeated every 6 to 8 hours as needed, not exceeding 4g/day. For intravenous administration, inject very slowly, at a rate not exceeding 1 mL per minute. OPC ampoules should be opened at a predetermined point, ensuring safer and more efficient opening.
Reduced particle emission upon opening. Enamel flakes from the ceramic rings can no longer fall into the medication. Cleaner break appearance, reduced risk of sharp glass spikes when opening, reducing the risk of injury. Significant reduction in the risk of ampoules that are very difficult to open.
Use with caution in patients with a history of allergies to analgesics. Monitor blood pressure during intravenous administration, as it may cause hypotension. Avoid in patients with acute hepatic porphyria, glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase deficiency, a history of metamizole-induced agranulocytosis, impaired bone marrow function, or diseases of the hematopoietic system.
If symptoms of agranulocytosis occur, discontinue treatment and perform a blood count immediately. Caution in patients with renal or hepatic disease. Contraindicated in patients during the third trimester of pregnancy and in those with hypersensitivity to metamizole.
